The Gualiname Guachichiles are a separate and independent chapter of the Guachichil Nation. Our main endeavor is cultural preservation and restoration. Much has been lost to colonization and assimilation; however, many vestiges of the knowledge still remain.
The artwork, customs, traditions, and history should be passed down generation to generation with the identity. In this, the Guachichil people survive. Guachichil culture is the lifeblood of our people.
The Guachichil were part of the Chichimeca Nations. They united under a shared cause with other tribes, but remained a separate group.
